Stephen Townley - our leader and mentor, known by many as the man behind creating a sports law industry, he began his career with the West Nally Group in the 70s just in time to create the sponsorship models for major events like the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and IAAF World Championships.  In the 80s he created Townleys which went on to be the largest niche sports law practice in the world.  By the mid 90s, Stephen was already involved with undertaking major media rights deal negotiations on behalf of clients and by the end of that decade this role evolved into ARM, providing deal making expertise and a full range of commercial advice to clients the world over. This decade has seen him move increasingly into the financing of sport and now into the next exciting development of providing professional services across country borders as sport goes truly global.

Caroline Townley  - provides the creative energy and the sports marketing, technology and media drive behind ARM as well as being the devoted wife of our leader for even longer than Stephen has been in sports.  Caroline takes the reins on the innovation projects for arm.  She recognises the opportunities presented by the challenges facing sport.  She has helped sports  take more direct control of the commercialization of their rights, created the NetResult business which helps sport protect its rights online and now is at the forefront of helping sport to capture its most valuable asset – its fan and participant base especially the young.  She has championed improvements in legislation to protect sport and created new commercial models to generate income.  Her passion for her work is awesome and explains her track record in identifying ground breaking solutions.
